This week's show demonstrates that you can get away for a weekend of musky fishing no matter what your budget may be. Shaun and Scott Stevens, Captain/Defenseman for the New Jersey Devils, head out onto Lower Buckhorn Lake for a weekend of camping and musky fishing to prove that you don't necessarily need to book into a lodge to have fun.

Join the boys as they relentlessly cast buck-tails and Manta jerk-baits for mid summer musky in the Kawartha's. The conditions are far from perfect as the duo competes with bright skies and crystal clear water in pursuit of a trophy.

Lower Buckhorn Lake has dozens of scenic islands that are suitable to set up camp for the night or for a weekend. Please remember to leave these spots exactly as you found them. Anything you take in with you should be taken out when you leave. Leave nothing behind except your own footprints!

Shaun's summary of the shoot:"As my friends will tell you, I'm not a huge hockey fan. I watch the games from time to time but it just never became "my cup of tea". Growing up in the UK, we were weaned on football (soccer) and rugby. I have to say though, what a great sport and kudos to the guys that play it. They're in great shape and are phenomenal athletes! Scott surprised the crap out of me, after seeing him play and hearing people talk. I was a little concerned that he might knock me out of the boat if we didn't get fish - LOL. Joking aside, Scott is a great guy! He has a great temperament and above all he is a dedicated and determined fisherman. He threw cast after cast and never gave up and thankfully his tenacity paid off at the end of the day when he boated a respectable 36-inch fish. My day on the water with Scott will be one that I remember for years to come. I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together".
